Streaming FIOS/ESPN on Xbox is niche. How many people use the Xbox as a cable box over a real cable box? Who pays for ESPN on the Xbox when they have cable already? Who cares if you have the app if not enough people care to use it.

Sony continues to be centerpiece for home entertainment in Japan. In US, they are the centerpiece for Blu-ray Movies and movie streaming. Cable continues to dominate televised progammes. Where does Xbox stand? No where.

You have no idea if the PS3 is actually the "centerpiece" for any of that. And for that reason, MS succeeded. Last gen had you asked about the absolute leader in gaming and multimedia it would have been the PS2. Now that isn't the case. Again, mission accomplished.

No one pays for it. The app doesn't cost anything extra. And ESPN3 on the 360 is awesome even if you have a cable box hooked up to the same TV. The app is not the same as watching ESPN on TV. It's blatantly obvious you have no idea what the app is, what it does, or what you're talking about in general in regards to 360 apps. So no point in responding to you any further.
