If your going to count titles like excitetruck....

NSMBWii is really not better than anything, but I guess I'll give it to you?

DKCR is a fantastic game, that is a win for the Wii.

Xenoblade didn't go against nothing. Baten Kaitos is a fantastic game. Gamecube had more JRPG's, just not all of them were first party.

Wii Twilight Princess is better how? I can press a button in the gamecube edition, but I have to waggle my arm to do a sword swing that doesn't register half the time? It's a terrible Zelda game anyway, but regardless that point is moot.

Skyward Sword>Wind Waker????! No, just no. Skyward Sword is an atrocitiy plain and simple. Most fans agree. If you liked it fine, but it's generally considered the worst 3D Zelda. Wind Waker is better in just about every way.

You can't count Metroid Prime trilogy. It is 2 gamecube games. It's not a new first party offering. Compare the games that were made for their respective systems. Cube had 2 of the top 3 metroid games of all time. It wins easily.

Eternal Darkness>>>___________

How is MKWii better than double dash? Frankly I call that a was because Mario Kart is pretty much good regardless of platform.

Wii Sports Resort is casual garbage, to even bring that up is a point for the cube.

The starfox games aren't bad enough to subtract points for the system. Some decent games are better than no games at all.

You failed to even mention pikmin.

Luigi's Mansion>_____

you failed to mention wave race

Wave Race+F-Zero>>Excitetrucks

It's really a pretty easy choice...

No GCN JRPG is as good as Xeoblade though.

TP Wii had faster and more efficient aiming thanks to the pointer, and swinging the remote felt more fun than a button tap. Widescreen too.

Wind Waker is an awful Zelda; half-baked dungeons, and suicide-inducing sailing. Skyward Sword's better level/puzzle designs and 1:1 sword control give it an easy win.

MKWii is better than DD because it has better handling, Karts no longer control like friggin' dune buggies.

Wii Sports Resort is a very good game, it was lots of fun and groundbreaking in its 1:1 motion control.

And the GCN Starfox games weren't decent, they were absolute garbage.

F Zero GX, Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime were the only GCN first party games that lived up to Nintendo's usual sky-high standards, while the Wii had the better version of Prime and TP, along with Galaxy 1 & 2, Metroid Prime 3, Skyward Sword, Donkey Kong Country, and Xenoblade. Even if you discount the multiplats between them that's 6 masterpieces on Wii to 3 on GCN.

no the hell they weren't -_-

atleast not Starfox Adventures

how the fuck was it garbage?

The flight sections were a joke. They were too short and lacked challenge or variety.

The on-foot stuff was like Zelda after a lobotomy, with all the intelligence and elegance stripped out and replaced by generic, by-the-number puzzles, and one-dimensional combat that boiled down to pessing A while enemies attacked one at a time.

The voice acting was ear-bleedingly bad, with Prince Tricky being particularly awful.

Starfox Adventures was pretty much what Donky Kong 64 would've been like on the Gamecube

and i'll go so far as to say that StarFox was THE BEST Adventure game that Rare has EVER made

you're probably just mad because you were expecting Starfox Adventures to be like Starfox 64 with him flying in the spaceship for the whole game or something

and why the fuck do people keep comparing it to Zelda? This game is in leagues with games like Donky Kong 64, Conkers Bad Fur Day, Banjo Kazooie and Kameo.. NOT Zelda

Because the combat and puzzles play like a Zelda game, just one without nuance, intelligence, or depth.

stop comparing it to Zelda

and there was nothing wrong with the puzzles in Starfox Adventures

the only thing about it that resembled anything from Zelda was when you locked on to the enemy with LT(i think) and then you could move around the enemy and now people want to jump all over Starfox's case for that? wow

No, I "want to jump all over its case" because I found that neither the combat nor the puzzles required much thought or were any fun to perform. If you want to compare it, to say, rare's N64 collectathon's, okay then, my criticisms remain the same.
