I'm guessing Nintendo is going to bank on Indie devs, they're clearly making a push for them. I guess they realize that the next big break out hit isn't likely to come from conservative, large, third party devs. Not only that, Indie devs just want the chance to show off their ideas. Established 3rd parties seem to want nothing but money hats.
