So, after all, what caused the boost?

Retailers slashing Wii U prices or the new games? Both??

Both, but the new games played a bigger role because the price cut alone did not help.

Really? The new games helped out sales more than the price cut?  So, what's gonna happen next week when sales plummet?

I guess those 2 new games are not system sellers after all - they only helped the sales of their release week.

Such statistics don't bode well for Wii U.

If you have nothing to play on the system, then why would you buy it? Of course sales will go down, two games alone will not make the Wii U sell at the rate it's selling. Sales will only pick up once the Wii U has a decent library, or if Nintendo starts to release a steady stream of games.
