He certainly cared enough to "beg" Nintendo to put his overrated, doesn't-fit-the-game-at-all character into Brawl.

Of course, they cut that game's legs off by doing something very similar to what EA did with Mass Effect 3 for Wii U.

Nintendo really got the short end of the stick on that deal. I'd say that SEGA has done more for Nintendo than Kojima.
