The primary difficulty, at least on Normal/Hard, comes during those levels with enemy reinforcements. I don't believe the demo includes any of those, so I'd reserve judgment until then.

I don't think there were enemy reinforcements in those first to chapters though at least not on hard or normal.

You're correct. I think it first shows up when you meet Cordelia. That's, what, Map 7?
