The Wii comes with a "free" nunchuck and remote though, so saying "You also have to go out and buy a remote and nunchuck separately" is a bit silly?
Wii Sports is the perfect game for the Wii. It gets non-gamers of all ages playing it (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,260990,00.html) its fun, you can play it on your own (the training section is good for single player) but it is very good when you play it with other people.
A lot of people buy the Wii because of Wii sports. It may not be to your liking, but surely you must appreciate it for what it is?
