Oh, that reminds me of something. Shovelware on consoles in general has never, ever, ever been as bad as the Atari ET game. That could be said to be the mother of all shovelware, and is often cited as the straw that broke the Atari camel's back and sent it careening into oblivion. I think that's giving the game a bit to much (dis)credit, but it is definitely awful. Certainly much worse than anything being put on any system these days.
