TheJimbo1234 said: When did "haters" become legit pissed off consumers? Some of you folk need to ask yourself when is it ok to legitimately criticise a company for a poor product, because looking at some peoples response, Nintendo seems to be infallible. |
you bring up a good point. i sloppily made the op without defining hater so let me do it here: A person that simply cannot be happy for another person's success. So rather than be happy they make a point of exposing a flaw in that person. Hating, the result of being a hater, is not exactly jealousy. The hater doesnt really want to be the person he or she hates, rather the hater wants to knock somelse down a notch.
Susan: You know, Kevin from accounting is doing very well. He just bought a house in a very nice part of town.
Jane (hater): If he is doing so well why does he drive that '89 Taurus?

So essentiually a condescending prick...but this doesn't work when talking about consumer products. Products can be genuinely shit and to point them out is simply pointing out a fact, not being condescending to Nintendo...who is a company, not a person =s
|
you can call it what you want. i call it hating. its the same for products as it is for ppl. and for clarification, are you saying Wii U is genuinely shit?
|
Well then you bring me back to my orginal point - when can you call a product bad without being a "hater"? You are implying that by default all products are good and to criticise them is to "hate". That is obviously utter bollocks.
No, it is not the same for products. They do not have feelings, an ego, or for people to feel superior than a product due to being insecure....because it's only a product, not a person. Stop asiging human emotions to objects. And yes, I'm saying the WiiU is a very poor product with many flaws and will be lucky to ever have normal sales. Why? Because of logic, not because "Im a hater".
|
It´s not logic, my dear. It´s just your opinion about a product.
|
Opinion constructed around logic *rollseyes* There are numerous and very strong arguments for why the WIiU is a poor product, eg. its power will be so small compared to the competition with no gimmick to push it, this is a strong and logical reason for saying that it will do poorly.
So sorry to burst your bubble, but good opinions are based on logic eg. the WiiU is poor.
