The people who agree with him here haven't played the 3DS version of Monster Hunter 3. It controls just fine without the CPP. The convoluted part of the controls come with all the menu-browsing you have to do that has little to nothing to do with having a second analog stick. I have the game, and I'm 22 hours into it. I was worried about it not having the CPP but I control the game just fine as it is. I've played the Wii U demo version and it honestly isn't that much different with the 2nd analog.
Also, if anyone watched the documentary with the guy who created Fez, he really is an impatient douchebaggy guy. You can ACTUALLY see it.
