hahaha pretty much.  Definitely deserved more than Xbox that's for sure.  Being purple and...well...being a cube hurt it but that just shows the general stupidity of the consumer.

I still totally liked the way it looked.

actually I did too.  Sony had the black box market covered so I liked seeing something different from Nintendo.  I haven't liked how either Xbox has looked but Dreamcast, all Nintendo systems (last 2 have been kind of bland probably because of GC being poorly recieved), and all Sony systems (though PS3 has had the worst track record and I hope they have a flat top on the PS4 at least) have all looked great to me.

I thought the Gamecube looked cute compared to the bland Xbox and PS2, but that's just me.

And just for the record, I think th fat PS3 is the coolest looking console of all time.
