Travel is expensive. I went to E3 one year and while it was fun, looking back it wasn't worth it. I got to play a bunch of games early, but I probably would have had more fun spending the money on a regular vacation. But that's just me and PAX looks way more fun that E3. I live 1 state away from PAX Prime so if I was going to venture to a PAX, that's the one I'd attend. Maybe if I drive and camp my way there it wouldn't cost enough to matter.
