I really think that it´s pointless to compare them because their launches were not similar. 360 was launch 1 year before, and with a very high cost compared to PS2 and Gamecube at that time. PS3 had the higher cost later and Sony didn´t take long to launch cheaper versions. It´s clear that WiiU overall sales are not good, but as happened with the 3ds and with Vita, we must give Nintendo some time. When the big 1st-party franchises come, and eventually a price drop (or a cheaper model) before holidays, we will have a better picture of the console´s future and - I´d say - the future of the industry itself. The 3DS has the best first 1 month sales of all video game systems. It has the best or second best first 6 months sales, maybe after the Game Boy Advance, it has the best first 12 months sales, it has the best first 18 months sales, and it has the best first 2 years sales. So please don't say lies about the 3DS ever selling bad ever.
