What did you think of it?
I love games with historical settings. I really really hope a sequel will come to Wii U.

It was entertaining all the way through, albeit rough around the edges. Additional playthroughs (which are necessary to get the true ending) highlighted the flaws of the game.
1) Combat is simplistic and clunky. 2) Environments are reused. You play as twelve different characters, but only play in four different areas that look a bit different between time periods. 3) The sanity meter backfires. It's nice the first time around, but many of the insanity effects are timed. You know what you are looking at (because you've already seen it before), but have to wait about 15 seconds until the screen flashes and the game can be continued. It's annoying to be slowed down like this. 4) Speaking of which, all characters in this game can get exhausted from running. You are repeatedly forced to walk to catch a breath. 5) Once your health drops below 1/3, you can't run anymore which makes it hard to get enough distance between your character and the enemies to cast a healing spell. (Spells take a couple of seconds to cast.) 6) The changes that are caused by your choice of god at the beginning of the game are tiny. You basically play through the exact same game three times to see the true ending.

Bold:I think those sound like wonderful mechanics for a more hardcore experience. The rest does sound "rough around the edges" though.
