I doubt the WiiU's been that profitable with such low sales lately. And that trend will continue for a while, at this rate--I don't expect Lego City, Pikmin, or Bayonetta to have a huge, lasting impact on hardware sales. The heavy hitters may well make up the difference come Christmas time, though.

I wouldn't count on Bayonetta 2 coming out this year, so by the time it arrives we'll most likely already have some heavy hitters, like Mario Kart.

Honestly, you're probably right. I don't expect Bayonetta to come out any sooner than late fall at this point. I doubt we'll see Pikmin or The Wonderful 101 any time soon, either, although I do expect those to be out this year.
We haven't seen or heard enough about any of these games to convince me they're even close to ready.
