Yes you're spot on, the bad aftertaste off the Wii is definitely hurting Wii-U sales. That's why supporting a system after you launch it's successor is so important, Sony is the only one who seems to realise that and that's why PS3 is still selling pretty reasonable. Sony has done a lot of things wrong this generation but that's one thing they do right.
