well, the title says "looming end to DVD war", but it's over, we know it.

interestingly, Toshiba's pending decision to completely drop HD-DVD actually caused its share to jump 6%. i guess previously investors already priced in Toshiba's HD-DVD failure.
anyhow, we'll see how this affects ps3 and 360. people on this forum has suggested a blu-ray 360 coming. who knows, maybe even nintendo will offer a blu-ray wii.
the Wii is an epidemic.
