You guys should try ZEEBOX. It's a tv companion app, sounds like the smartphone version of TVii.
It's actually pretty cool, you can use it as a real time TVGuide and get info on shows, chat on facebook/twitter in real time with fellow viewers and get tons of info on every show that's currently on as well as background info on the shows production.
