I dont like this type of JRPG. (first person, only 4 directions to go to) I actually dont like turn based RPGs at all but there is some few games I still buy (all Dragon Quest games) My ideal JRPG would be Secret of Mana/Terranigma/Illusion of Gaia(Time) /Xenoblade. 2nd place would be stuff like Tales of blahblah (I dont like the fact that the game goes into a "battle stage" why not battle where your characters actually are? But other than that the games are cool) 3. comes turn based (which is a relic from back in the day when CPUs couldnt handle so much "AI") 4. First person turn based dungeon crawlers. I like to see my characters and want to have actual models with battle animations etc. I wil buy Etrian Odyssey IV when it falls below 20€. P.S. I do like turn based strategy games like Advance Wars/Fire Emblem/Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Shadow wars etc... because there it feels like one has to use some brain.

It's a CRPG, or some genre like that.
Crimson shroud shouldn't be much different from this in the basic core of game style.
