That was the biggest waste of time! Said absolutely nothing. Here's another translation of what he said:

"Later we may reveal something about one or more of the features that our console is supposed to support right now, and we may, or may not, eventually start to think about moving towards making decisions to become active in the activity of creating experiences for the activities we have promised will be available on our newest Wii U console, which currently aren't available on our newest WiiU console. I can't say anything more about it at this time, as I have already said too much. See you at E3."

Wow, you pretty much missed most important points:

  • Nintendo now considers its Nintendo directs as its main channel for broadcasting news.
  • Nintendo still values E3 as a "Demo" type showcase platform.
  • The dual-gamepad tech is being placed in second priority after NFC.
  • Nintendo intends on making NFC available to more devs in contrast with Disney and Activision which have their proprietary devices at a steep cost.
  • Nintendo intend on making extensive use of NFC at least in one Nintendo IP.
