I think people who may not have liked Metroid Prime too much 10 years ago should give Metroid Prime Trilogy a try. I think the improved controls really do make that much of a difference. The Problem Metroid Prime 1 and 2 had were the controls. They were so clunky and bothersom because the game was in first person, but the controls were not first person controls. Metroid games can be easily addictive. One thing that worked so well with the old games were that the controls were perfect and the game was easy to get into. The first two MP games had a problem with that and that problem was later fixed with Metroid Prime 3 and Metroid Prime Trilogy and now I find the first two MP games just as fun and addictive as any Metroid game.
It's a shame Nintendo made Metroid Prime Trilogy a limited release. Nowadays, you have to look on the internet for it.
