Just dumped close to 300 dvd cases- Could you part with your cases?

I have the same problem with books. I like reading soft cover, easy to hold while laying down in the sun and read. But they pretty much fall apart by the time I reach the end, or I forget them outside and they blow up to twice the size in the rain :/
So they look awful on the shelf, and when I catch up I'm stuck with irregular sized hard cover. Maybe I should go digital with books, anyone know a comfortable water/shock proof reader that works in direct sun light?

In regards to a reader that's pretty much what I want as well , along with some advice about good places for E books
