A lofty analysis OP.

Heavenly Sword, like most PS3 games made a bulk of its 1.5m in sales via bundling and bargain bin prices. It was sadly one of the first high profile flops this gen (along with Lair).

As for Enslaved, there was never any hype for this. Namco do not know how to generate hype. The game was a lot better than Enslaved but the marketing was just non existent. With a better publisher (ubisoft) the game would have done better.

DMC, this game was doomed right from the start. With all the fan hate and back lash, no amount of marketing could have undone the damage, its a shame because it is actually NT's best game to date.

If they had stuck with Sony, with Enslaved there is no reason to think the game would have sold better.
