Why did ni no kuni and xenoblade go so bad in japan, compared to the west?

Hence why I said "Last Generation" - again I have stated in another post if you want something more close to current gen would have to look at PSP and NDS rpg sales which again outsell Xenoblade (in terms of sales).

Yes, I understand that you said that, but people don't buy these games anymore, they are old. So why would they affect xenoblade and ni no kuni so much. While the fact that the genre have fallen behind in the wii, ps360 gen, the games were hailed as the best of it's genre, and that should have had at least some kind of effect.
