I mean relative sales to its competitors (home consoles).  It is behind by the largest margin and in 3rd there where it isn't in either of the other 2 big regions.  PS3 has been the least successful in NA.

Well, that point doesn't really make too much sense to me.  It's much better to look at the raw numbers for the regions specifically.  Compare them to other times, rather than to other consoles relative to other consoles, relative to other regions.

I didn't mean to get all technical here it's just something I've noticed.  3DS is dominating handhelds and PS3 is in last in home consoles in NA and is 7 years old, yet it's outselling 3DS at $80 more.  I'm saying that's a bad sign for mobile gaming in America considering the market share PS3 has and the market share 3DS has.

To me, looking at it like that still doesn't mean too much.  I remember looking at the numbers from last year and they were much closer, the 3DS to console sales.  3DS was still lower, but usually by around 10,000 or so.  All of these numbers are pretty bad, honestly.  Not very many games have been coming out.
