I am now unable to make a profit selling whole coconuts, I am forced to rely on coconut drink to break even.

Is it the new coconut drink market that is bankrupting me, or the price of fertiliser?

Your still talking about the cost of developing software, and what I said in my previous post where the measures being taking 2 help ease costs as well as other reasons, how much do you think the cost of games 2 buy will rise next gen? I can say they will stay the same. The PS4 and 720 being more powerfull with new features will help dev's not criple them as many of them have already pointed out.  Another point is the Wii U? (not 2 be hating on the console) but if its not pushing for power etc and the dev costs are not as hurtfull as say creating a game for the PS3/4/Xbox360/Xbox 720? why do most 3rd party devs seem 2 be skipping over it? its cheaper yes? and not following the traditional power path?

2 things.

One is that competing with Nintendo with similar franchises is suicide, they have too much of a name and quality.

The other is that squeezing out power from Nintendo's hardware is a lot of work and some developers just don't bother because it's too hard.
