MS can absorb losses though which makes them capable of selling at huge loss for a while, Live even helps soften the losses.

Yes, they can deal with more losses, but which one do you think people will choose if one is cheaper than the other. A high price tag certainly didn't help sony at all until the price came down. It would probably be disastrous for MS to launch the nexbox at more than what the ps4 cost.

Point to where I said it'll be more expensive if anything that indicates it will be cheaper regardless of production cost, Sony don't have that same advantage of absorbing losses, X3 can launch at 350 if the PS4 is priced at 400 as a means of undercutting Sony.

No, I'm not saying you said they were gonna be more expensive, it might of sounded that way, but that's not what I was going for. I think it will be, but not more than $50-$100. That is just going off the rumors of X3 have similar specs and having kinect bundled with every console, because the new kinect will cost probably $100 alone from the way it sounds with upgraded tech. Now they could actually end up not bundling kinect with every one which would help keep cost down to where they could undercut Sony in a console only sku.
