It's funny how people think investors are stupid. They're quite smart, actually.

They know Sony can't sell the PS4 at a profitable price while also obtaining reasonable market share in the 8th generation. It's either they sell it at a profitable price and get crappy market share, or they sell it at a loss and get higher market share (and who knows if it will even be good market share, even taking a loss. Look at Vita).

Sony might be forced to actually remove features to bring the price of PS4 down. Then people wll be more pissed than ever. They're in a very bad spot, to be quite honest.

This exact situation is probably what Nintendo was banking on the entire time with Wii U. I'm sure they didn't believe the market was ready for a true 8th gen console yet without throwing away money to sell the damn thing.

This my friend is almost a fact. Remember when PS3 was suppose to have 2 HDMI out, 2K resolution, Gears of War, etc, etc, etc? well, thing turned out very different at launch. Sony is just being Sony all over again by showing those amazing PS4 specs, but I think they are bluffing - no wonder they couldn't show the actaul console.

Maybe they are trying to get MS to make a move, and if that is there plan, somethings tells me their not going to like MS's answer.

As for Nintendo, yeah they have a plan, as always, we'll just have to see if fortune smiles upon them once again.
