The point is really this - modern games are scalable, so a multiplat game may run on Ultra High at a crazy resolution on a PC, High @1080P on PS4/Nextbox, and Medium @720P on the U.

THat's what I've been preaching. THey all share similar architectures (GPU heavy) and have the same capabilities in terms of technologies.

Biggest hurdle at this point will be WiiUs 1GB RAM for games as compared to 5GBs to 7GBs of RAM the PS4 and neXtBox will have for games. Hopefully that scales nicely as well.

I would wager that they'll eventually free up some OS RAM and get it up to 1.5GB available for games. Just bumping a PC game from ultra to mid settings can drastically alter the amount of RAM needed, so I'm sure most games will scale fine. I'm guessing exclusives will be the games really pushing PS4 to the limit anyway, and there's no real need to scale those games (obviously).
