Why do so many Metal Gear fans believe that it should be Playstation exclusive.
MSX, MSX2, NES, Playstation, PC, Xbox, PSP, Gamecube, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Gameboy Color, 3DS. These are the platforms the games have been on. MGS 4, Acid and Portable Ops are the only ones that haven't gotten ports yet. And I say yet because the history of Metal Gear has shown that they gets ports even a generation later.
Nothing about Metal Gear has anything to do with Sony. Konami and SOny are both Japanese companies so I guess they might have a better relationship than say MS, but the reality of 3rd party development is that games cost too much to make to limit to only one platform. That's why the Fox Engine was built to be multiplatform on day one and why Ground Zeros is going to be on everything that can run it.
