Well realistically the WiiU has 8 more months of selling while PS4 sells 0, assuming PS4 launches in Novemeber globally.

That is also assuming WiiU Nintendo 1st party franchises dont come to the resucue and if Nintendo doesn't pull a 3DS and cuts the WiiU price to undercut the PS4 launch.

If WiiU stays the same and PS4 launches in Novemeber, it would still take roughly 1-2 years for PS3 to overtake WiiUs head start, depending on how it sells. So your still looking at a total of 2, most likely 3 years of WiiU outselling the PS4 lifetime :)

Yeah, well, there have been so many predictions for the seventh generation and all turned out to be false. That's why I'm not making any serious predictions. The PS4 could indeed follow the Wii U Pattern, selling a lot at launch and nearly nothing afterwards. It could also outsell the Wii U at the very first Weekend. Wouldn't be the first time some electronic product sells ~6 Million units at launch. Very unlikely, but to be honest, I have no idea what the numbers will be. But that doesnt't keep me from kidding around and having fun. And as a Sony Fan on the Hype Train at full speed, there is no limit at the moment! It is going to be huge! :]
