Your lack of knowledge doesn't really have any baring on the intentions of the developers when making comparisons to Skyrim. I don't think anyone can honestly say that their assesment of the strengths and weaknesses of Skyrim are anything but spot on. They are making an Open World RPG comparisons to Skyrim and Bethesda games in general are innevitable. Personally I find the honesty in assessing the competition in the genre from TES, Fallout: NV, Gothic (yes they discussed multiple games not just Skyrim) etc is refreshing in a world where Devs usually have to talk through a thick PR barrier which prevents them from saying anything negative. And honestly they have said more negative things about their own last game than they have Skyrim. This is just another case of sensationalist gamz jurnzalizzim that has taken quotes out of context to generate hits.
