Erm, last I checked, XTC is still very illegal and anything related to the MDMA group of drugs is illegal and unregulated, hence dangerous.
It is not a case of defend, but merely reason. If the vast majority of people do something and you do not, and it is not necessarily a bad thing, then that makes the person abnormal thus they shoud at least be prepared to reason why. If someone said "I don't lke getting drunk & I get drunk easily", or "the price is too high" etc, then fair enough. But to say "I don't like the taste" is the same as saying "I don't like films because of the plot". It makes no sense as it is a wee bit pants-on-head retarded :p
