Why the hell did I read this thread. I'm stupid now.

The Ouya has a 1.7 Quad Core ARM CPU and can barely draw more polygons then the Wii with it's 730MHz Power PC CPU (completely ignoring GPU). The Power PC CPU in the Wii (and GC) is like the awesome ones from the old Mac G4 computers. The ARM in the 3DS is more akin to a gimped Celeron (budget CPU). Operations per hert is much more important then raw hert number.

As for shaders, smoke and mirrors, nothing more.

Something no one else mentioned is that the 3DS has a main screen resolution of 240X400 (240x800 for 3D). That's one quarter the effective resolution of the Wii.

Nintendo has already said in an interview about the development of 3D Land that they ran Galaxy through a screen the size of the 3DS to see what it would look like, they said Mario was so tiny you couldn't see him, so they changed the design for 3D Land. Would they then go & port Galaxy to a system they already stated isn't a fit?
