If nintendo were to make a new ip, what genre should it be?

Yeah, they are making project cars. I don't know who lucid games are, so I can't really comment on that one. I'm not sure if arcade racers are the best bet, but I really can't remeber playing any of those, so I can't speak of experience when I talk about that. But as you said earlier, I too think that they should make an rpg, because I believe that an rpg is the best genre to choose if they want to cater to the nintendo fans and the self proclaimed "hardcore."

Lucid Games is the Studio Bizzarre Creation employees created after Activision disolved them. They are essentially the bulk of people responsible for the PGR franchise. So they have a good history, and at the same time, are technically a new studio. So if they made exclusive games for Nintendo, it would give the impression that they always were a Nintendo exclusive studio.

Plus it would be Ironic, MS takes Rare, Nintendo takes Bizzarre.


An RPG would be a great game, but I think a good racer would help diversify their portfolio. Either way, if Nintendo makes a new racer/RPG (or both combined....... ) IP, I'll be happy.
