I didn't expect the announcement of the next Zelda or Metroid, but come on, a gameplay trailer for Yoshi's Yarn or something would have been nice. Show us, don't tell us, that good stuff is coming.

What difference would that make? You still wouldn't be able to play any of these games, so you would probably complain that this good stuff is so far away while right now there's nothing to play.

Having something to get hyped about would certainly increase interest in the console, even if we had to wait.
