Uhm, by that logic SNES should have never been called that, not to confuse audience that it's the same things as NES, but it's just Super ;)
Anyway, WiiHD is name given for the sake of this debate, it's there to represent concept, not actual naming of a product. In my opinion they should've gone with completely new name that has nothing to do with Wii one way or the other.
