Should I get a xbox for knights of the old republic and jade empire?

Yep, but that's SD. The nice thing about PC games is as PC's get better you can run old games in higher resolutions. KOTOR on PC can now be run in 1080p HD while the Xbox version, which I own, maxes out at 480p SD even if played on Xbox 360 with backwards compatability.
