DieAppleDie was the only person I remember defending region-locked consoles in a thread we had discussing that a while back, since Nintendo are currently region-locking their consoles.

OT: I don't have much to say about the actual topic, other than what's already been said.  Guy was a complete imbecile about the matter, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a dreadful and archaic way to handle digital content.
