It will clearly be a mistake, especially if PS4 doesn't have BC, but I think people are so desperate for that game it will still do alright
Let's not forget, if you are targetting PS4, then it is highly unlikely to sell more than 5m units in the first 6 months and games like FF are aiming to sell more than 5m copies

Yeah, that's why i don't think they will move FF Versus XIII to PS4. They need to sell a lot of copies to get profit out of the 7 years they spent making it. Also, porting and upscaling it to PS4 will only add to the development cost. I think they will release it on PS3/360/WiiU and have a huge advertising campaign for the game so that it gets noticed even after PS4/720 are out. |
