I want them to do what they feel is right. Would I tell my favourite band how to write their next album? No. We're talking about art here people, consider that for a minute. It's not all just a market and a product and a strategy and shit.

That's what I'm talking about here though; not whether I want it or not, but that it would be a terrible idea from a sales perspective.

Ok. I'm just saying: Nintendo wouldn't be who they are if they always did the obvious. I admire their stubbornness when it comes to their design philosophies.

Me too. For instance, I love the fact that they stick to gameplay-first where most other devs have put graphics and story over gameplay.

nintendo shoudln't do a realistic looking zelda game....what Zelda defines are the magical visuals... and realistic ist magical at all....Zelda is a fantasy adventure and should not be raped by graphic whorenes

I didn't say realistic. I said semi-realistic. Like the E3 tech demo.

no, my OP was not based upon your statements....I was talking in general you know ;)

Ah, I see. I do agree that a totally (graphically) realistic Zelda would be pointless. :)
