Hm, if we take attachment rates into consideration:
ZombiU: 0,32Mil/2,6Mil = 12,3%
Assassins Creed 3: WiiU: 0,11Mil/2,6Mil = 4,2%//PS3+Xbox: 9,14Mil/143,6Mil = 6,3%
Actually not too much of a difference.

Well, if you're not loking at that difference as being 50 % (which it is), than no, not really big difference, specially on small user base. However, if translating WiiU's attach rate to 9,14mil sold on other platfomrs, it would make it around 6 mil, so more than 3mil copies difference....that's quite a lot at $60 a pop IMO.
Also, you can look at it this way too - 0.11/9.14 = 1.2% .... I think it's reasonable business desicion not to ditch 98.8% (or 80%, if sales of Rayman Origins are taken as bases) of potential market for being exclusive to one platform (unless platform holder REALLY gives you adequate incetive to be exclusive),
Still, as I said, really not very nice move from Ubi to do it so close to announced release date...

Yeah, I agree. Basically I just tried to put the WiiU sales into a bigger picture. WiiU numbers always sound so small, attachment rates can help to point out that a game actually did pretty well since many users on here tend to ignore the install base of a console.
For example: ZombiU's attachment rate of 12.3% is almost equal to CoD: Black Ops II's attachment rate on the PS3 with 12,8%. Yet ZombiU is constantly called a failure while nobody would think to say the same about BO2.

I don't think ZombiU is generally known as a failure. For what it is (a survival horror) it did quite well, for a good exclusive launch game the sales are decent at best though. Attach rates of single games for new platforms are not really comparable to those of older consoles, because the amount of launch games is so limited.
On PS360 you will hardly find another game that has more than a 15% attach rate, but for launch games 15% is not uncommon.
As sad as it might be, ZombiU isn't even necessarily a better system seller (at the moment) for WiiU than the yearly CoD iterations are for PS360.
