That seems too heavy for me.

I don't use my netbook on my lap anyways, I'm always on my desk or on a tray or a table.

You could possibly make a case if you really tried enough that Surface RT and Windows RT ecosystem could be discountinued a year from now but you're probably not intelligent enough to do that.

But for Surface Pro, how is the entire x86 ecosystem going to die all of a sudden and Surface Pro going to be discontinued? Surface Pro comes with an ivy bridge i5 and more bells and whisltes than you know. It's more capable than any laptop I know under 1000 dollars.
