Dscaler or VirtualDub can be used with a TV card to play games without lag. It still doesn't look that great though.
I'm thinking of throwing down money for that VGA cable, but that would disable my monitor for computer browsing, which kinda sucks...I'd like to be able to do both at once.
But I have a regular TV in my room anyway...so I usually use that for playing games.
