Gamestop and co, are not going to give away money like that. If it does happen, it is going to be ugly and messy. The negotiation on the profit cut will be terrible.

If they follow thru with these DRM Gamestop's stocks and profits will plummet. They will have no choice but to close because GStop is assuredly only opporating on sales made from used product.They are already projecting closures. They can threaten to not sell their consoles anymore, i doubt it tho. Stores like Walmart will gladly pick up the slack from them. No one really likes GS as  a company, and simply tolerate them due to their good pricing on new products(that are used usually). When they no longer support 2 of the biggest contenders in the industry, consumers will leave.

What I mean is GStop wont have much of a choice, either do it or go under.
