Well I liked Joystiqs take on the game. It looked to me that the single-player segment of the game is pretty badass

It's exactly the same as DS2 without the scary allucinations... or any scare at all for that matter. Less even than the difference between two Call of Duties.

It still seems like a decen survival game. For me the DS series was more like RE past the 4th one. Decent thriller/survival, but nothing more. It never had the crzy scary factor like SH or Sirene...

On retrospect the first and the second DS had their scary moments though... more than RE5 at least. In DS3 there are some good things they could have used to amp up the horror, but in the end these ideas fell flat.

Too bad. Yeah agree with the scary part, I mean they where on par IMO with RE4 on scarry level. Not OMGIJUSTSHATMYSELF scarry, but still good. Never the less, do you recon it would be a good buy at a bargain price? Is the lenght at least the same ( meaning pretty decent by todays standards ).
