Its The Great Escape, but Papillon and The Magnificant Seven almost made my list. Still have to rewatch Bullitt the first time I watched it I wasn't too expressed execpt for the famous chase scene. As for The Elephant Man I only watched it all the way through about three times so I'm with you about it being a movie that you probably only want to watch once in a while.
