Another issue with that Vizio is the fact it uses polarized glasses which halves the resolution. You are already limited to 720p for gaming since thats the maximum res that HDMI ports can take at 60 frames per second, and then you half that due to polarized glasses. It looks like crap... So yeah, all im saying is that while that Vizio is probably a good choice for a tv at that price, I would completely ignore the 3d aspect of I were to buy it as it really isnt up to snuff. |
Well, there's the format of stereoscopic 3D. For instance, look at the end of an episode of "Nintendo Show 3D" (especially the newer episodes in the eShop).
But there is a way to improve the 3D effect on anything, and that's to watch from more further away from the 3D screen, LOL but true.
Anyways, 32 inches is bigger and it really depends on how well they format the stereoscopic 3D, like at the end of any episode of "Nintendo Show 3D".
Plus on a PC you are sitting right next to the screen so it reduces the 3D effect, so by simply moving further away from the screen you will improve the 3D effect automatically.
Also polarize does reduce it to 1K HD but it gets recombine in your mind as a 3D 2K HD image visually.
well my experience with polarize 3D Standard-Definition on a 3.53 inch screen is Crashmo & Star Fox & Super Street Fighter 4 & Fire Emblem Demo & Resident Evil Revelation (with option set to very strong) & Kid Icarus Uprising & bootlegging 3D movie trailers from the theater & so much more and it looks extremly good, especially the newest trailer for Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon I downloaded during E3 2012.
I think your bad experience was from sitting to close to the screen.
But do you know if what you were watching was; Monochromatic 3D or Stereoscopic 3D?
