IMO they will split the team into 2 and release Halo and a new IP much like Naughty Dog is doing with UC and TLOU.

I hope so, MS needs to start making those new IP's. I think they want every new game to sales a but load like Gears and Halo and when it doesn't happen they abandon that franchise. 

Well you can't blame them. It is a business and it is about making money. Not selling 200,000 copies of a game to make the minority happy.

Even some of the games that get past a million never get heard from again like Lost Odyssey.
