720p most likely, especially if it's true the game runs in 60FPS. Most of us can't play it in 1080 anyway as most HDTVs are 720

Where are you from? In Germany it's not even possi8ble anymore to buy 720p televisons over 24"

United States.  Over here 1080p TVs are still really expensive and predominantly our standard for HD is 720, with all television broadcasts and games maxing out at that resolution.  The only thing that actually displays natively in 1080p is a Blu-Ray or HD video that was filmed in 1080p.  Most HDTVs bought and sold are still 720 althought that is gradually changing.  We're not there yet, though.

Are you fucking kidding me.

1080p has been the standard on new TVs since like 2008 in US.

The fact you own a 720p is not the norm but either you bought HD when it was first coming out or simply didn't shop around well. I bougth my 1080p in feb2010 from costco in february (not a black friday deal) ... its a 46" Sony and was $750.

While its true broadcast is pretty much only in 720p, that does not mean the TVs themselves are.

It's true man, look it up.  In fact, until mid-2010, not even 50% of US households owned even one HDTV set.  Most of which were/ still are 720p, as it's far cheaper and therefore more mass-market friendly.  1080p sets are typically for high-income earners and are still relatively new to most people.  Bear in mind people like us who are tech junkies find all of this baffling, but just remember that 50% of the population doesn't even know the name of the Vice President, let alone the difference between a 720p or 1080p TV.  All they see is 'HD' and the lower price.

If you factor in the Amish maybe. At least among people that have any interest in video games, 1080p is the norm.
